Is it ‘mourning glory’ as Liam’s fashion proves no oasis for him?
The fashion outlets created by ex-Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has gone into administration.
Pretty Green has 13 stores across the UK. “All stores and concessions will continue trading until further notice,” a statement on the doors said.
Moorfields Advisory Limited were appointed as joint administrators on March 28.
“Pretty Green is not immune to the challenges facing the UK high street as customers migrate from purchasing in store to online,” a spokeswoman said.
Pretty Green was founded in 2009 as “an upfront straight-talking British clothing label”.
The singer’s taste is evident in the lines with trademark Parkas, Polo shirts and desert boots. Just a year after Pretty Green was founded the brand was crowned “Menswear brand of the Year” at the Drapers Fashion Awards.
The store in Leeds on King Edwards Street was doubling as a music venue for up-coming bands.
